West Palm's new "Nora District" is emerging as the next wellness destination, blending fitness, recovery, beauty, and health-focused concepts into a walkable, lifestyle-driven community designed for modern living. With curated wellness brands and experiences anchoring the district’s next phase, Nora is redefining how residents and visitors prioritize well-being downtown. The Nora is bustling with shoppers and diners, and developers are focusing attention on the neighborhood’s next phase: a cluster of large-scale buildings with what could be more than 1,000 apartments and condominiums. The developers of the 13-acre urban revitalization project plan to transform what was once a blighted stretch of industrial buildings and aging homes into a dense downtown community, with five residential buildings in a two-block span between Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and Tenth Street. The evolving vision for the neighborhood was presented to city leaders on Jan. 5, just a few months after restaurants, cafes and shops began opening in Nora’s new entertainment district along North Railroad Avenue, just north of the city’s downtown center.
